OPEN CALL FOR RESIDENCY 
You know your practice. You’ve built it where you are. What happens when you place it somewhere unfamiliar?
In collaboration with the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, the BMWKMS (Federal Ministry of Housing, Arts, Culture, Media and Sport), the Austrian Cultural Forum in Cairo (ACF) and PART – International Art Residency Austria, this open call invites emerging visual artists from Egypt to explore their medium within Vienna’s vibrant artistic landscape. Over the course of one month, the residency offers studio and living spaces in the heart of the city, opportunities for exchange with local artists, and insights into Vienna’s dynamic contemporary art scene — from its galleries and artist-run spaces to its rich cultural heritage.
Most importantly, it gives you the time and space to deepen your artistic process and develop new perspectives in dialogue with the city.
