Inspired by journeys aboard the icebreaker Oden, their works trace the fragile, shifting landscapes of the Arctic and Antarctic and our deep connection to nature. Opening soon at Al Mashrabia Gallery as part of this year’s SABBART edition.

SABBART, a blend of “Sabbar” (Arabic for “cactus”) and “Art,” explores how arts and culture can shape a more sustainable future. Through diverse artistic perspectives and cultural exchanges, we aim to inspire reflection and dialogue for a more eco-social world.
من جليد القطبين إلى قلب وسط القاهرة، يأتي معرض “فن الاستكشاف” (Expedition Art) ليقدّم تأملات ستة فنانين سويديين حول كوكبنا المتغيّر. مستوحاة من رحلاتهم على متن كاسحة الجليد “أودِن”، تتتبع أعمالهم المشاهد الطبيعية الهشّة والمتحوّلة في القطب الشمالي والجنوبي، وتستكشف علاقتنا العميقة بالطبيعة.
يفتتح المعرض قريبًا في جاليري المشربية للفن المعاصر ضمن فعاليات دورة هذا العام من SABBART.
