On the occasion of the centenary of the partisan writer Beppe Fenoglio, the Institute will screen the film by Guido Chiesa, based on the novel by the writer of the same name. Johnny leaves the army and hides in the hills. He is a loner, more intellectual than a man of action, yet he understands that he cannot remain extraneous to the anti-fascist struggle, so he enters the Resistance told through his personal experiences and encounters. Il Partigiano Johnny (di Guido Chiesa) In occasione del centenario dello scrittore partigiano Beppe Fenoglio, l’Istituto proietterà il film di Guido Chiesa, tratto dall’omonimo romanzo dello scrittore. Johnny lascia l’esercito e si nasconde in collina. E’ un solitario, più intellettuale che uomo d’azione, eppure capisce che non può restare estraneo alla lotta antifascista dunque entra nella Resistenza raccontata attraverso le sue personali esperienze e i suoi incontri.
