Screening Film: Plácido

In a small town, a group of some leisured bourgeois organize a Christmas campaign whose motto is: “Invite a poor person to sit at your table”. Its aim is about that the neediest would be allowed to share the Christmas Eve dinner with wealthy families and enjoy the warmth and affection that they lack. Placido has been hired to participate with his three-wheeled vehicle in the parade, but a problem arises that prevents him from focusing on the work at hand: that same day is the last day to pay the first instalment for his vehicle, which is his only way to make a living.
