يدعوكم فريق مساحات قايتباي – المساحات الثقافية والفنية متعددة التخصصات – ليوم مميز يحتفي بالقاهرة من خلال الكتب، الحرف، والمجتمع المحلي.
يقدم هذا الإصدار مجموعة مختارة بعناية من الكتب التي تستعرض تاريخ القاهرة، آثارها، حياتها الحضرية، عمارتها، وقصصها اليومية التي تشكل ملامح المدينة. سواء كنتم تبحثون عن عناوين نادرة، أعمال أساسية، أو قراءات معاصرة عن القاهرة، ستجدون ما يلهمكم.
كما نستضيف دور نشر ومكتبات متنوعة تقدم كتباً عن المدينة وتاريخها، مثل مكتبة البلد، ودار المرايا للثقافة والفنون، ومبادرة “سيرة القاهرة”، مع كتب تناسب جميع الأعمار وتعكس المدينة من زوايا مختلفة تاريخياً وعمرانياً وثقافياً.
إلى جانب الكتب، يضم المعرض بازاراً حيوياً للحرف اليدوية من إنتاج حرفيين من حي قايتباي، يشمل النسيج، الخزف، المطبوعات، الحُلي، وغيرها — مستوحاة من روح المكان وصناعته.
لتكملة الأجواء، تتوفر مجموعة من الوجبات الخفيفة والأطعمة المنزلية طوال فترة البازار.

The MASQ team — Multicultural and Artistic Spaces at Qaitbey — invites you to an afternoon celebrating Cairo through books, handmade crafts, and a warm sense of community.
This edition offers a carefully curated collection of books that explore the city’s layered history, architecture, everyday life, and urban experiences. Whether you’re seeking unusual finds, essential references, or contemporary perspectives on Cairo, you’re sure to discover something inspiring.
We’re delighted to host a number of publishers and bookshops — including El-Balad Bookstore, Dar El-Maraya, and the Cairo Biography initiative — who will showcase titles for all ages. Their selections reflect the city’s rich cultural, historical, and spatial narratives from a variety of viewpoints.
Alongside the books, enjoy a bazaar of handcrafted works by artisans from the Qaitbey neighbourhood. The offerings include textiles, ceramics, prints, jewellery and more — each piece capturing the spirit of the place and its creative community.
