For the first time in Egypt, Austrian musician UCHE YARA presents a special live performance in collaboration with Egyptian dancer and movement artist Hanin Tarek, created specifically for this evening.
Meeting and working together in advance, the two artists developed a shared piece in which music and movement unfold in direct dialogue. The performance is part of the Cross-Cultural Concerts series of the Austrian Cultural Forum, which brings Austrian musicians together with local artists in Egypt. It opens up an open, dynamic space for movement, sound, and exchange, blurring the lines between concert and dance performance and inviting the audience to experience music with their whole bodies.

About HANIN TAREK:

She is a graduate of the three-year full-time program at the Cairo Contemporary Dance Centre and co-founder of the dance duo Nafaq (est. 2019). Her movement practice is shaped by continuous exploration and collaboration, working across performance, film, visual arts, handcrafts, and alternative education. Hanin views dance as an empowering tool for expression and social practice, with a strong interest in engaging and supporting young people through movement.

لأول مرة في مصر تقدم الموسيقية النمساوية اوتشه يارا عرضا حيا مميزا بالاشتراك مع فنانة الحركة المصرية حنين طارق. وقد أسفر اللقاء و العمل المشترك المسبق بين الفنانتين عن عمل فني تتجلى فيه الموسيقى و الحركة في تفاعل و حوار حى. و يعتبر العرض الفني هذا جزءا من سلسلة الحفلات الموسيقية للمركز الثقافي النمساوي و التي تجمع بين موسيقيين نمساويين و فنانين محليين بمصر. و يفتح هذا العرض الفني مساحة مفتوحة للحركة و الصوت و التفاعل حيث تتلاشى الحدود بين الحفل الموسيقي و عرض الرقص داعيا الحضور الى التفاعل مع الموسيقى بكل حواسهم

هي مصممة رقصات و مؤدية مقيمة بالقاهرة. وهى خريجة مركز الرقص المعاصر و المؤسسة المشاركة لفرقة “نفق” للرقص المعاصر ( ٢٠۱۹). تتشكل ممارستها للحركة من خلال الاستكشاف المستمر و التعاون و تتنقل بين مجالات الأداء و الموسيقى و السينما و الفنون البصرية و الحرف اليدوية و التعليم البديل. ترى حنين ان الرقص أداة للتعبير كما انها تبدي اهتماما كبيرا بالانخراط مع الشباب و دعمهم من خلال الحركة
