Pour la troisième année consécutive, l’Institut français accueille et soutient l’édition 2026 du festival soudanais du film d’animation, Apedemak.
Le festival international du film d’animation du Soudan, Apedemak, est un événement unique en son genre, consacré aux courts métrages d’animation. Il a été fondé par l’artiste, Ibrahim Sayed.
Le festival vise à créer un lieu de création artistique ouvert à tous.
Ses objectifs sont :
Découvrir et encourager les jeunes talents et la créativité soudanaise ;
Redécouvrir, explorer et raconter l’identité et le patrimoine culturel et civilisationnel du Soudan ;
Promouvoir la culture de l’animation et des arts visuels au Soudan.

للعام الثالث على التوالي، يستضيف المعهد الفرنسي في مصر ويدعم دورة عام ٢٠٢٦ من مهرجان أبيدماك، مهرجان السودان الدولي لأفلام الرسوم المتحركة.
يُعدّ مهرجان أبيدماك حدثًا فريدًا من نوعه، مُخصّصًا للأفلام القصيرة المتحركة. أسّسه الفنان إبراهيم سيد.
يهدف المهرجان إلى توفير مساحة للإبداع الفني مفتوحة للجميع.
أهدافه هي:
اكتشاف وتشجيع المواهب والإبداع السوداني الشاب؛
إعادة اكتشاف واستكشاف ورواية قصة الهوية والتراث الثقافي والحضاري للسودان؛
الترويج لثقافة الرسوم المتحركة والفنون البصرية في السودان.

For the third year in a row, the French Institute in Egypt is hosting and supporting the 2026 edition of the Sudanese animation film festival, Apedemak.
The Sudanese International Animation Film Festival, Apedemak, is a unique event dedicated to animated short films. It was founded by the artist Ibrahim Sayed.
The festival aims to create a space for artistic creation open to all.
Its objectives are:
To discover and encourage young Sudanese talent and creativity;
To rediscover, explore, and tell the story of Sudan’s cultural and civilizational identity and heritage;
To promote animation and visual arts culture in Sudan.
